How do we collect your data?

On the one hand the data which you share with us will be collected. This could be e. g. data, which you submit throughout an application.

Other data will be collected automatically through our IT systems when visiting the website. These are especially technical data (e. g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). The data collection is done automatically when visiting the website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is processed to ensure an error-free provision of the website. Other data can be used for an analyse of your user behaviour.

Use of service providers

In many cases service providers supports us by fulfilling our tasks, e. g. for provision of our applicant platform or for web hosting and operation of our systems. All service providers and partners were selected carefully and with all of them the necessary data protection contracts have been concluded. Our service providers process personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations for the support and information of customers and interested parties as well as for the processing of the offered services.

In particular we use the application system “rexx recruitment” from the company rexx systems GmbH, Süderstraße 75 - 79, 20097 Hamburg, www.rexx-systems.com, within the scope of an order processing according Art. 28 DS-GVO. The data processing takes place in Germany.

Your affected rights

You can exercise the following rights at any time using the provided contact details of our data protection officer:

  • Information about your data which is stored and processed by us (Art. 15 DS-GVO),
  • Correction of wrong personal data (Art. 16 DS-GVO),
  • Deletion of your data stored with us (Art. 17 DS-GVO),
  • Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data according to legal regulations (Art. 18 DS-GVO),
  • Contradiction against the processing of your data by us (Art. 21 DS-GVO) and
  • Data transfer, if you have consented to the data processing or have concluded a contract with us (Art. 20 DS-GVO).

If you have granted us your consent, you can revoke it at any time for the future.

If we process your data to protect legitimate interests, you may object to this processing on grounds relating to your situation. We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

There is no obligation for providing your personal data. The provision of your personal data is voluntary and has no effect on your application process.

Automated decision-making, in particular automated decision-making about your application or profiling, does not take place.

At any time, you may submit a complaint to a supervisory authority, e.g. the responsible supervisory authority in the federal state of your residence or the authority relevant for us as the responsible body.

Transfer of applicant data and data processing for the implementation of application procedures

You can submit your application data on our website. We use the entered data for the purpose of carrying out application procedures.

The mandatory information requested during submission must be provided in full in order to be able to make a meaningful selection of applicants. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept the application.

The following information is mandatory:

If you have also voluntarily provided special categories of personal data (such as health data, religious affiliation, degree of disability) in the letter of application or in the course of the application process, processing will only take place if you have consented to this in accordance with Art. 9 (2) a) DS-GVO in conjunction with Section 26 (2) BDSG.

We will use the e-mail address mentioned in the career portal, for important information purposes, to contact you in the frame of the application process or in case of technical necessary changes, to inform you. In the frame of the application process we could probably use your mobile number to contact you.

The processing of data entered in the career portal is based on your consent to the processing of applicant data (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DS-GVO) as well as for the initiation of employment relationships (Art. 26 BDSG) and also for the initiation and execution of an employment contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DS-GVO) as well as all other relevant laws (e.g. BetrVG, AGG, etc.). As a result, the processing of your applicant data is necessary in order to be able to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The primary legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) DS-GVO in conjunction with Section 26 (1) BDSG.

Your personal data will only be passed on, within our company, to persons who are involved in processing your application.

In addition, we may transfer your personal data to other recipients outside the company if this is necessary to establish the employment relationship.

Your applicant data will always be treated confidentially. Should we wish to process your personal data for a purpose not mentioned above, we will inform you in advance.

Job Alert

By entering your e-mail address, you allow us to collect, store and use your personal data by sending you current job offers with your selected criteria by E-mail at regular intervals. You can unsubscribe from the Job Alert at any time - just with one click. Your E-Mail address is transmitted encrypted.

Disclosure of personal data / Recipient

There is in particular no transmission of your personal data to third parties, unless we are legally obliged, or the data transmission is necessary for the implementation of the contractual relationship, or you have explicitly accepted the transmission of your data in advance.

Your data will only be transmitted to affiliated companies and service partners if they are acting on our behalf and supporting Airbus Bank GmbH in the provision of their services. Processing of your personal data by commissioned service providers takes place within the framework of the order processing according to Art. 28 DS-GVO. The previous mentioned service providers only get access to such personal information which is required for the performance of the respective activity. The service providers are not allowed to transmit your personal information or use them for other purposes especially not for marketing issues. If external service providers have access to your personal data, we secure through legal, technical and organizational measures as well as through regularly controls that they also comply with the applicable data protection regulations. A commercial transfer of your personal data to other companies does not take place.

It is important for us, to process your data within the EU / European Economic Area. But it could be possible that we use service providers who process data outside the EU/European Economic Area. In such cases we secure that prior to the transmission of your personal data an adequate level of data protection, comparable to standards within the EU, is guaranteed at the recipient. This could be reached e. g. with EU standard contracts or Binding Corporate Rules or special agreements, to whose regulations the company may submit.

Revocation and information on deletion periods after deletion of your applicant data

You can withdraw a given permission at any time and have your applicant data deleted. An informal message via e-mail to us is enough (datenschutz@airbusbank.com). The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you want us to delete your applicant data during or directly after the completion of the application process and we cannot or could not offer you a job offer, if you reject a job offer, withdraw your application or ask us to delete the data, we store your submitted data including potential physical application documents for a maximum of 6 months after the completion of the application process (retention period), to be able to comprehend details of the application process in case of discrepancies (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

This does not apply if legal regulations oppose the deletion or if the further storage is necessary for purposes of evidence.

YOU CAN WITHDRAW THIS STORAGE IF YOU HAVE JUSTIFIED INTERESTS THAT PREDOMINATE OUR INTERESTS.

If it is foreseen that the storage of your data is necessary after the retention period (e. g. due to a threatened or pending legal dispute), your data will only be deleted when they are not needed anymore. Other statutory storage obligations remain unaffected. After expiry of the retention period the data will be reduced.

The reduced application data will be deleted completely from our system after 36 month or will be further anonymized for statistical purposes, to exclude a personal reference.

Provision of the website

If you only visit the website without submitting any data and information (e. g. though a contact form), we collect the following technical information (Logfile-data):

  • operating system, which is used for visiting the website, of your device
  • Browser (type, version & language settings)
  • Retrieved data volume
  • Actual IP-address of your device, which is used for the visit of the website
  • Date and time of access
  • URL of previous visited website (referrer)
  • URL of (sub) page which you go to on the website
  • Internet-Service-Provider of the accessing system

The collection of these data is technically necessary to show you our website and guarantee stability and security. We (and our service provider) regularly do not know who is behind an IP address. We do not match the above-mentioned data with any other data.

Legal regulation for storage of the data/logfiles is Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 f) DS-GVO.

Through the storage of logfiles we can guarantee a proper functioning of the website and it is used for improvement and security of our systems. An additional evaluation of these data (e. g. for marketing purposes) does not take place. The data stored by Airbus Bank GmbH will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. This will happen at the latest after six weeks. A longer storage is possible. In this case the IP addresses of the users will be deleted or alienated - therefore an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

Cookies

This website uses so-called “Cookies”, which are relevant to make the internet presence in total more user-friendly, more effective and secure. Cookies are small text files which are saved on your computer system. We want to point out that several of these cookies are transmitted from our server to your computer system, but these are mostly so-called "session cookies". "Session cookies" are characterized by the fact that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. Other cookies remain on your computer system and allow us to recognize your computer system on your next visit again (so-called permanent cookies). No personal data is saved in the used cookies. The legal bases for possible processing of personal data via cookies and their storage period may vary. If you have given your consent to us, the legal basis is Art.6 Abs.1 S.1 lit. a) DS-GVO. If the data processing is carried out based on our overriding legitimate interests, the legal basis is Art. 6 Abs.1 S.1 lit. f) DS-GVO. The stated purpose then corresponds to our legitimate interest.

Technically necessary cookies serve to simplify the use of websites. User data, which is collected through technically necessary cookies, is not used for generation of user profiles. The use of “analysis cookies” is done for the improvement of the quality of the web pages and their content. Through the “analysis cookies”, we learn how the website is used and can constantly optimize our offer.

Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted by it. That is why users have the full control of the usage of cookies.
